Key Responsibilities
As the Principal Investigator/Medical Director, your role will include:
- Serving as Principal Investigator (PI) on multiple clinical research studies
- Providing medical oversight and ensuring patient safety throughout all trial phases
- Designing and reviewing protocols, amendments, and informed consent documents
- Ensuring strict adherence to FDA regulations, ICH-GCP guidelines, and IRB requirements
- Monitoring site performance, trial recruitment, and study timelines
- Supervising sub-investigators, coordinators, and research staff
- Collaborating with sponsors, CROs, regulatory agencies, and ethics boards
- Contributing to scientific publications, presentations, and clinical trial reports
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree with an active medical license
- Board Certification in a relevant specialty (Oncology, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, or related)
- Minimum 5–10 years of clinical research experience (industry or academic)
- Previous role as Principal Investigator or Medical Director in clinical trials
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and ICH guidelines
- Proven track record in leading multi-site or global clinical studies
Preferred Skills
- Experience with early-phase (Phase I) clinical trials
- Knowledge of biostatistics, pharmacovigilance, and safety monitoring
- Ability to mentor junior investigators and research staff
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong scientific writing and publication background
