Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and deployment of AI/ML/GenAI solutions to streamline clinical trial operations such as patient recruitment, retention, real-time monitoring, and automated data collection.
- Build generative AI tools for generating clinical documentation, including protocols, study reports, and patient narratives.
- Oversee digital healthcare applications, including data from wearables, electronic health records (EHR), patient-reported outcomes, HEOR data, and Phase IV studies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in clinical operations, development, medical affairs, and real-world evidence teams to align AI solutions with scientific and business needs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and data privacy requirements, while promoting ethical and secure use of AI technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in data science, computer science, biostatistics, or a related discipline.
- 7-10 years of professional experience in AI/ML roles, with at least 3 years in healthcare or clinical research.
- Strong programming expertise in Python, R, and familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI, LLMs, and NLP applied to medical or clinical data.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), version control, and MLOps deployment.
